Dear little boy, I want you to know that you've been blessed with a light within.
Now it's time for you to arise and let that little light shine so that the world might see and appreciate God's gifts to you, which have set you apart to be a king and more than a conqueror. So trust yourself and arise, little man.
About arise little man
Arise Little Man is meant to inspire young or old boys to men irrespective of race, color, or financial status, to affirm any hint within them that they are unique and destined for greatness.
Quite frankly, I realize it is hard to be a man. Whereas women are groomed to be mothers, caregivers and now sound entrepreneurs because tools are set in place for them right when pushed out of mama's womb, baby boys have little to no such guidance along their journey.
I realize that in part because I am raising men and, in conversations with my friends or hubby, I've heard statements like
a) I wish my dad told me he loved me;
b) I can't stop chasing success because I don't think I'm good enough, and;
c) I don't know how to be a man, just to name a few.
All of these realities placed a burden on me; hence the inspiration for my mission-driven children's book, Arise Little Man.
